What is Water Kefir?

Water kefir (or as we like to call it, Kefir Soda) is a lightly sparkling, fermented drink made with Water Kefir Grains, water, and natural sugars. During fermentation, beneficial bacteria and yeast transform the sugars into a refreshing, probiotic-rich beverage that’s naturally low in sugar and full of flavour.

Excellent kit! I love how simply everything is packaged and in recyclable material without loads of plastic. The kits has everything I needed to get started and I am on my third batch of water kefir now and loving it. The grains definitely work! I can't wait to perfect the flavouring stage and continue making fermented bubbly drinks at home rather than spending loads on cans of gut friendly drinks that may or may not be doing what they say they do and that have all the industrial traps of packaging and distribution emissions.
